I can’t not think of the outro to Tell Me How when I hear the outro of Showbiz…and now confirming the lore of Hard Times era and to think maybe when Hayley was writing TMH it was under the pretense of After Laughter being their last album in contrast to EDAABP being the true actual end of Atlantic and how she was probably going though the same wave of emotion just on different scales - idk I just love the thematic through lines of her writing and even the aire of open interpretation is so expertly executed in its specific vagueness.
