Happy Mermay! I decided to make my dream pendant out of an extra dawn I had!
It wasn’t difficult since I just had to remove her legs and feed wire cut around 12 inches) through those existing holes
I made sure it was looped trough at least twice to make her tail length an inch and a half. I twisted the write together and then wrapped quilt batting around it. I made sure more batting was around her hips and less at the tip. Then I took sewing thread and started wrapping around the batting making it into a nicer cone shape.
Once I was happy with the shape I cut out 2 sort of triangle shapes from my sequined fabric. I sewed those together and fit it over her tail. Next I stitched it to her body directly and glued/sewed her fins made from glitter iron vinyl and fabric. Then I just decorated!
Eyes are from windflower with the base painted white, 3D printed crown I designed, and made her top with lots of beads I had! I also added the sequin fabric to the balls on her head!
