Deep Throat

Episode 2 - Scully mentions Project Aurora more than once. My first duty station was Edwards Air Force Base, 1992 - 1993. I don't know how many times in the middle of the night I would get a call to my personal phone, in the dorms, asking if the Aurora was taking off. People would call random numbers on base trying to find out information about the so-called Aurora Project. Funny memories!

For those not at 100%

This is coming from working Pre Claims for 13 years...Please do not send in an Intent to File with your claim! Why??? If you are not at 100% right now, do not have a current ITF on File, no Claim pending, FILE AN ITF NOW! Even if you are not intending to file any new, increase, or supplemental claims. That ITF is good for a year. It doesn't cost you anything. Maybe 6 months down the road something gets worse or you need to claim something else. If you get service connected the date of claim will go back to the date of the ITF. Just a better way to use the ITF. I think you should always have one pending. JMHO.

500 EL/M

Hello all! So for my birthday I was given a 500 EL/M body. It's certified working. I need to get a lens, back, and a prism. I have an A-12 back on the way. Leaning towards a PME-45. Would a PME-3 be fine? What about one that is Adjusted for 42165? I plan to use it for landscape photography so will be looking for a good wide angle lens for this body.

Staying Awake for over 24 hours

So as the title states, does anyone ever just not fall asleep at night? Once a month or so I just can't fall asleep. This happened even when I was fully dosed on Xyrem and Xywave. I usually have to take the day off.

Saddle Replacement

Hey All. Getting back into biking after a short break since 2005. I've built up a few bikes from frame up. Trek Y, Stump Jumper, Santa Cruz...well I just picked up basically a brand new Schwinn High Timber ALX 18" frame with 29" wheels for $200. The guy bought it, put it together, rode it to the end of his driveway, and then put it away until I bought it. So there will be no more single track riding with my hair on fire plus riding with wife and daughter. The front fork is crap but it will do. The stock seat will NOT. Thinking suspension seatpost and a good seat... suggestions? Luckily it came with the rapid fire shifters rather than the grip shifters. I remember when they first came out...yes that old 😂 need to ditch the kickstand, get new pedals, and some other odds and ends...
