Passap pinkie - oldest model?

Passap pinkie - oldest model?

I have scored! $100 for a Passap Duomatic pinkie. But... it doesn't quite match what I see in the manual that I downloaded from MKManuals, or the parts list I see on PassapCanada. Notably, it doesn't have any jaws or a colour carriage on the back lock, but it DOES have a metal hole running through the back lock in the far left corner (as I look at it in place on the bed).

In picture, which I copied from Facebook, the jaws in the green box are what is missing from mine. and the hole I think may be for yarn is at the arrow.

So, wise people of Reddit, my question is...
Do I just have an OLD model, from before the colour changer was available? Or am I missing pieces??

Edit to title: AL-STAR cap

Hello all, I’m brand new here but I hope a question is OK? I just bought my first Lamy pen, an Al-Star (says the receipt) but I caught the cap’s clip and the black button (finial) from the cap flew off somewhere into the snow. I might find it a month or three from now, if spring ever arrives!

Meanwhile, do you know if it’s possible to order just that finial? Lamy’s website does not seem to list anything on its replacement parts page. Failing that, is there somewhere I can find out the thread count/pitch. Husband thinks it’s a 10-40 machine screw, and has offered to buy a tap and dye set to make me a new one… but that seems overly complicated!

Thanks in advance, you seem like a lovely community.
