Worried as a first time traveller

Hey all, I'm hoping this is the right place to come to ask, I can't find anywhere better to, I'm visiting someone in France (I'm from and in the UK) for the first time, and this is the first time I'm travelling to France on my own, I'm going via trains, the London underground to the Eurostar to Paris, then TGV, I think it was, to metz. As any first time traveller it feels a little confusing and overwhelming and that's normal, but I was wondering if theres any suggestions anyone could give, how much time to leave between the Eurostar and TGV and how the security and stuff all works, that kind of thing to give me an insight to what I will or may face, I would ask about the whole journey but seeing as this is about travelling in France well, yea. Thanks for the help in advance

Also for me, the more detail the better, thanks

I hope this is just a minor fault

hey all, I'm looking for some help or or guidance or... something, to do with my x-56 rhino HOTAS, I've had for... 4-5 years or so I think now, and its been brilliant, i used it around 3 months ago and it was working fine, but now that ive felt motivated to take to the skies again it seems to be broken.

nothing is wrong with the throttle part, only the joystick part, I've tested putting it into different USB ports and even different computers and what not, I've tried measuring the power going through it and it says there is only 0.06A (amps) going through it, I've tried moving the wire around to see if its a lose connection and all something, even opening it up myself to see if there was any obvious signs of a short circuit or component failure, but there was no black marks or bad smell or anything, so it cant be that.

something is clearly wrong, but at the same time nothing seems to be wrong with it, i cant think of anything else to try, so maybe someone else here may think of something i haven't, or just know what the issue is to begin with. thanks for the help in advance

I'm new, and i am definitely missing something

So, I was bored and made my own plane (I haven't got a name yet if your wondering) and though, i wonder how aerodynamic this thing actually is, so I did some research and come across simflow, seems simple and good enough for me, downloaded it installed it opened it imported my plane all completely fine... except for it seems to just put a box around it and so it simulates the aerodynamics of said box instead of the plane, what am i missing here, as there's nothing to make the box "boundary" transparent or get rid of it or anything, it stays there even if i delete the imported plane data and there's no mesh for it or any sign of it other than it visually shows up in the 3D view space
