Doom/Anxiety Feeling

1 month ago my b12 was 391 and homocysteine 18.4. I began a oral supplement called Homocysteine Nutrients but the methyl b’s proved too stimulating for me. Ive been taking now 3-4 5mg cyanocobalamin tablets each day for 3 weeks now. I responded very well at first but the mood/cognitive improvements have faded. Initially, after eating or exercise I felt short of breath which I read could be a potassium deficiency due to b12 intake. So, ive been trying to get in 2g of potassium a day. This feeling has faded. Exercise does leave me worse off than before, I feel incredibly brain fogged, numb, and anxious after, usually getting a hypnic jerk or two that night before falling asleep.

1 week ago I received a methylcobalamin injection from my PCP and well Im not sure that did me good mentally. For the past week ive been feeling “out of it”, like nothing I am perceiving is how it should be or felt before, or I am getting memories of past times where I have felt this feeling (false perception if memories?), and general anhedonia for activities I usually enjoy (work, video games, music). I will be honest I felt this before the methyl injection but now it is worse and still feels worse 1 week later. Other symptoms like tinnitus, tingling, lighting feelings are back a little bit too.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: also, Ive been experiencing some hair shedding

Megadosing Sublinguals

Ive been taking 3/4 5mg cyano sublinguals for the past 2 weeks and have seen some improvements. My question is, should I be taking so much? I supplement with potassium and folate

29M, it was about 5 months ago I had an insane acute physiological stress event and afterwards I could not sleep for a month and I was stuck in an anxious and derealized place for months. At the time of the event I was on my 6th month of low dose t3 and had just tried some androsterone. Docs looked at my thyroid, sex hormones, and basic metabolism and found nothing considerably wrong. I thought I had destroyed my thyroid and HPA axis experimenting with these synthetic hormones.

Other symptoms I was experiencing: tingling hands/feet, poor circulation, low motivation, brain fog, visual disturbances, tinnitus, urinary hesitancy

A homeopath had me tested for mineral/vitamin deficiencies and found all my b vitamins were borderline very low and homocysteine twice above the top threshold. Ive begun supplementation via sublinguals and injections and have been feeling considerably better.

My working hypothesis on how this all went down is that the t3 raised my metabolic rate and in turn depleted my body of b vitamins. Ive never focused on b vitamin supplementation and suspect they were already low before starting t3. I also suspect I have a MTHFR gene variant.

Thoughts?

29M, dealing with sub 400 B12 , sub 20 B3, and 20 homocysteine. Symptoms: derealization, tingling, poor circulation, lighting pains, hypnic jerks, tinnitus, low stress tolerance, visual disturbances.

After 3 weeks of methyl 1mg oral, I decided to get 5mg cyano sublinguals (because methyl is a bit stimulating).

I tried one and did not expect anything the first day, but about 2 hours after taking I felt like myself for once in about 4 months. Mood lifted. That feeling went away that night, but I have since been taking 2/3 5mg sublinguals a day. Positive feeling isnt as pronounced but I do feel somewhat better. I know most people here say that you should dose enough to rid yourself of symptoms, but just want to check in: how many sublingual can I take a day? I also take cofactors minus iron.

I want to move to weekly/biweekly injections next, just havent gotten the prescription yet. Looking to get it through agelessRx

Hello, Im (29/M) on week 2 of taking Homocysteine Nutrients by Seeking Health which included 1mg of methyl. My symptoms originally were tinnitus, brain fog, visual defects and my b12 is at 391pg/mL, b3 sub 20ng/mL, and homocysteine 18.4 umol/L.

This week I started getting worse tinnitus, vision, anxiety, some vivid dreams, and general fatigue/fog and “out if it” feeling. Im wondering if this is the startup symptoms of the oral supplement or a product of me working out and having a long past weekend celebrating a birthday with a friend (some drinking)

My primary care okay’d me for b12 injections too. I am a little anxious of side effects given how bad I feel right now.

Symptoms: brain fog, appendage tingling, tinnitus, blurry vision, spots in vision. For about 1/2 months.

Had homocysteine and b12 checked: former at 18, latter below 400. NP immediately said injections are okay I want them, but they are only monthly. They are: Cyanocobalamin 1,000 Mcg/ml.

Some people in here mention injecting every other day at first or at least twice weekly, but at what dosages? Thoughts?

Hello, I have been experiencing anxiety, low-energy, poor sleep for about 5 months now after an acute anxiety event back in November. It's been kinda hell since then, but recently a homeopath recommended I get my thyroid, homocysteine, and b vitamins checked.

  • Homocysteine: 18.4 umol/L
  • B6: 14.6ng/mL
  • B1: 138 nmol/L
  • B3: <20 nng/mL
  • B12: 391 pg/mL
  • thyroid (because I take some tyronene)
  • T3, Free: 3.8 pg/mL
  • T4, Free: 1.3 ng/dL
  • TSH: 1.8 mlU/L

Since these labs I was recommended Homocysteine Nutrients by Seeking Health. I thought I noticed some improvements over the first week (like increased energy), but have been getting some other symptoms like tinnitus, slightly fuzzy/sensitive vision and cold extremities. I have been eating over maintenance and plenty of carbs. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with something like this.
