Play any team rocket deck 1 in every 20 game maybe, I had the perfect sequencing for the final turn except I forgot Giovanni switches you too and honchcrow doesn’t play any switch outs.
I’m I wrong to say that this is just another great card for dragapult? It almost completely removes Mega Froslass which is one of dragapult only actual counters in the meta currently. 120 damage is a perfect number for phantom dive and even better it activates after you attack so you can’t even Wally the damage off. Now you can’t even one shot a pult without getting return KOd for a -1 trade, and if you miss the KO you immediately get one shot.
It also makes mega lucario that much easier and Kangaskhan. You just hate to see another possible buff for the deck that’s making up 50% of regionals.
Over the past 2 days I had an 8-10 game streak of getting nothing but completely useless hands. All meta decks: ursaluna, starmie dusk, lopunny, and team rockets spidops. Sometimes it wouldn’t even be just the first hand but every Lilly into nothing or games where I’d rinse through half my deck without hitting a single supporter or energy or way to get an evolution.
Then I switched to froslass lopunny and went on a 15 game win streak. All of this is happening in master btw. And now I’m on a 4 game streak of dead drawing again.
It’s not misplays or the decks it’s just multiple game streaks of drawing into completely useless hands. There’s nothing I can do about it and I’m just ranting at this point. Just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else.
(Yes I refuse to play dragapult, yes I know this solves this issue)
Don’t everybody start playing this now but it’s genuinely so fun. Its versatility makes any matchup winnable if you play well enough.
