Backpacks

I am looking for some backpacking advice and would appreciate your thoughts.

I currently own a Patagonia Black Hole Pack 25L, which I really like because it is lightweight, simple, and already paid for. However, it is more of a general-purpose daypack and not really a technical hiking backpack.

I am considering whether it makes sense to use the Patagonia for backpacking and day hikes, or if I should invest in something more purpose-built like the Osprey Talon 30 (or 33). The Talon seems to offer a lot of hiking-specific features, such as a better suspension system, hydration bladder compatibility, trekking pole attachment points, improved organization, and additional capacity.

For those of you with experience backpacking and hiking, would the upgrade be worth it, or is the difference smaller than the marketing suggests? At what point does a dedicated hiking backpack become noticeably more comfortable and practical than a lightweight daypack?

I would be especially interested in hearing from anyone who has used either the Patagonia Black Hole 25L or the Osprey Talon 30/33.

Thanks in advance!

Midlayer Fleece for Kilimanjaro

I intend to bring this Midlayer Fleece (The NorthFace Tekware Futurefleece 1/4 Zip Hoodie from 2021) as my Midlayer Fleece to Kilimanjaro.
Do you know if this is sufficient or should I rather look at a Patagonia R1 Air or Arcteryx Delta?
I will likely rent a hardshell and insulated jacket.
Thank you :)

ID help please

Looking for a product name for this piece but couldn’t find it. It seems to be some sort of FutureFleece but I’m unsure. Thank you :)
