Last August compared to now (The first set is now)

How do I make my lines less shaky?? I know it's because I'm using a smaller brush 😭

I want to know if I missed anything and how I can improve the tank. I have a heater, a filter, an air pump, real plants, and sand in the tank currently. No, my fish isn't in there yet because I just set the tank up last night and need to give it time to thoroughly filter. Edit: I forgot to mention that it's a 55 gallon

I just ordered a 55 gallon tank (i only have 1 goldfish). It's an upgrade from the temporary 25 gallon that I had him in. The tank should be here tomorrow and I was planning on going to one of my local pet stores to get more plants and sand for the bottom of the tank. I was wondering if anyone could maybe post their tank in the comments as inspo? 😊 Also I forgot to mention that I'm obviously gonna thoroughly filter the new tank before I put him in lol
