Post gym scene was cut

Libby has the first 92 pages of Jacob's book as a sample and what do you mean we were supposed to see Shane getting himself off post gym scene?

What a difference repotting makes - insane 4 month growth

With the exception of 1 nectarine tree I grew from a pit, these are all supposed to be "reachable" dwarf peach trees. I rent so they have to remain in pots. I tranplanted them into these 60 gallon air pots in March & I now have a forest in my tiny backyard. I've been cutting back some new shoots just so I can walk through the yard but I know you're not supposed to do any heavy pruning during the growing season. I will definitely have a lot of pruning to do this winter. They've remained pretty healthy which is surprising because I've always battled shot hole & fungus in my coastal climate. No fruit this year but these trees are only 3 years old. The first photo is one I didnt get around to replanting yet but will this winter. No questions but any advice on taming these beasts is welcomed. God help me if I ever want to move.

One thing I don't understand

After his dad's funeral Illya basically writes his family off. Leaves his apartment to his brother & tells him he doesn't want to see him ever again. He tells Shane in the monologue that he never wants to go back. So why is he packing to go back to Russia at the end of episode 5? He has a gift for his niece so obviously he is planning on seeing his family. Is it that he still feels obligated to go? Even if he felt he couldn't say yes to the cottage then why not just stay in Boston for the summer? Why put himself through spending time with the family that just tears him down? With his father gone he could finally break free from them. Were his fears over loving Shane so strong that he would go back to the one place he knew he could escape him, even if it meant subjecting himself to the cruelty of his family?
