Just curious about what we are doing about the tax trap to be honest. Want to know how wide spread it is. Do u actually salary sacrifice to below 100k? Have you always done so?
For the past two annual tax periods, I haven’t salary sacrificed to below £100k as I need the funds for a property purchase.
Just curious, was speaking to a colleague the other day who mentioned that her partner pays most of the bills whilst also not being HENRY (almost) himself. Was interested in knowing if this is common and curious about the general split of income.

Long time lurker
Wanted some advice. I applied for a role at VP level but have been offered an Associate role with a salary at the top of the band, which I am fine with. Just disappointed with the change in levels. Reason given is that the company says they do not hire to promote. They have tenured Associates on the team. I’ll be coming in with more specialist knowledge/skills. Says fast track promotion is on the cards.
Has this happened to anyone before? Any thoughts?
