Many people hate japanese for not holding accountability for their war crimes of ww2 and want them to apologise yet china did same thing in Tibet 1950s yet many people ( atleast in west ) don't hate china for that ?

I like i am not saying japanese is justified but I am genuinely wondering why china doesn't receive same amount of hate for killing and rapping in Tibet ? Like people want to acknowledge wars crimes committed by countries yet people don't talk enough( or its not very popular topic to discuss) about war crimes committed by China, because china never apologise to Tibet for you know killing like 1,2 million people.....
