Best apartments for the heat?

I’m looking to rent an apartment in Paris…with the latest heatwave, curious how your experience has been in a Hausmann apartment vs pre-WWI vs 1960-1980 concrete has been? Are the pre-war apartments really better at preventing the heat (excluding the top floor)?

Stop Statin Temporarily?

I’m struggling with what to do. In February I had my Lp(a) tested at 306 nmol, LDL @ 155, HDL @ 41. I saw a cardiologist in Spain who prescribed 20 mg Rosuvastatin combined with 10 mg Ezetimibe (one pill). Ive been traveling this whole time, so now I’m in a different country. Nine weeks into treatment I had labs done, and my liver enzymes were ALT 278 and AST 252 (8 times normal) and LDL was 45/HDL 51. I emailed the original doctor who suggested I take 1/4 of the combined pill every other day and re-test in 2 weeks. I did, and my AST is back to normal, ALT is 58 (so elevated less than twice normal), LDL up to 70. I won’t be home and seeing a permanent cardiologist until late July. Doing blood labwork frequently is not easy as I’m in several different countries. The original doctor has not responded to me about what I should do through July with medication. I’m tempted to just stop it and let my liver recover and try new therapy in July, but I don’t know what to do. It’s difficult to find a cardiologist that will do a consult online for a patient they have never seen.

Ani Ruins Overlook

Has anyone been to an Ani overlook in Armenia? I’m a tourist and want to see Ani from Armenia. I’ve read that some of the overlooks require military permission and others don’t but it’s unclear which points are accessible without permission and with a regular car (not a 4x4), if any? I’m particularly looking at the hills near Haykadzor Հայկաձոր?

In February, I had a full lipid panel and discovered I have very high Lp(a) of 306 nmol/L

- which is crazy high (I have a strong family history of CAD). My cholesterol overall was borderline as a 46(F) and no cardio events. I was started on Rosuvastatin 20 mg and Ezetimibe 10 mg. It’s been 9.5 weeks, and I went to get labs done. My liver enzymes were really high (rest of liver function panel is normal):

ALT - 272 U/L

AST - 252 U/L

(Side note…my LDL dropped significantly from 155 mg/dL to 46 mg/dL)

I’m traveling internationally and need to figure out what to do. I’m considering stopping the statin, retaking labs in 2 weeks and switching to just ezetimibe 10 mg only until I can get to back to a new cardiologist in July. Anyone been in this situation already? What did your cardio recommend?
