I want to buy some model cars from the show but I feel pretty lost trying to find what I want online, the websites are either all out of stock or seem kinda sketchy. Does anyone have experience buying these model cars and could give me some pointers?
I'm an incoming senior computer science undergrad and I recently was awarded the Goldwater Scholarship, and I've been hearing a lot of conflicting opinions on how prestigious and how much weight it actually carries. For example, one day I'll hear that it's a guaranteed acceptance to every school and you're a shoe-in for a GRFP, and another day I'll hear that it's kind of just a prerequisite to get into top schools (ie Stanford, MIT, CMU, Cal, etc).
Obviously, I know that there is so much more that goes into a PhD application such as LORs, GPA, advisor match, etc..., but how much weight does the Goldwater Scholarship actually hold? Is it truly a "get-into-any-school-you-want" card? Or is it more of a prerequisite for the top programs.
Hello! Im going to be visiting Phoenix/Tempe soon to see a couple friends and we were planning on going to a casino, but I was wondering if any casinos had low stakes blackjack tables on Fridays and Saturdays, think $5-$10 tables. I know that a couple casinos in Vegas do this but I wasn't sure if any casinos in Phoenix/Tempe did that.
Thank you!
