I’m not personally a huge fan of anything after Relayer.

I’m my opinion, everything from their first album to Relayer is absolutely amazing, with my personal favourite album being Fragile. After that I’m not a fan of it at all. The albums ‘Going For One’, ‘Drama’ and ‘90125’ definitely have their moments for me, but I don’t think I’d jam out to the whole album like I would say Close to The Edge or something.
What’s your opinions?

Fragile - Yes

Their best album in my opinion. Second hand at my local record shop for 15 pounds. Great condition.

MORE by Pink Floyd. Secondhand early German pressing, estimated around 1970-1973

As it’s the albums 57th birthday today, thought it would be a good time to pick this one up. Got it at my local record shop for 18 pounds, it was labelled as a poor condition but still playable, as my local record shop wouldn’t sell anything unplayable. Upon opening it, it was absolutely filthy and covered in scratches. After a good clean however, it plays beautifully! As seen on the last two images, it’s very evidently secondhand as someone’s marked the sleeve and Side-B, assuming quite a long time ago as nothing will get it off. Still happy to own this!

Pink Floyd’s The Wall - Movie Soundtrack (fan project by me)

https://youtu.be/6rIbzdlJRQQ?si=cZa7nDBrSyrH2gG-

For those in this sub unaware, The Wall was a concept album made in 1979, meaning it was made to tell a story. In 1982, a movie was released to tell the story of the album better, with of course the album being its soundtrack. However it’s different, as some songs appear in the film that don’t in the studio album, while some songs on the studio album don’t appear in the film. Also the placement of some songs are different and of course all the songs are different renditions of their studio album counterparts, sounding completely different at times (like Mother or Empty Spaces for example).
Unfortunately to this day the soundtrack to the film has never been released, despite the fact a lot of fans actually prefer it. So I made one, with all music being taken straight from the film, with the exception of three mentioned in the videos description.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!

For those who own both the original and the 2018 remix of Animals, which one do you find yourself listening to?

As the title says. Curiosity really, the one person I know who actually owns both on vinyl said that for the first few months of owning the 2018 remix, that he listened to that many times over. Then one day he went back to the original and hasn’t really touched the 2018 remix ever since. For some extra context, he bought it when it came out in 2022.

Live at Pompeii bootleg with Us and Them included?

For those unaware, this particular performance was from 1972. Us And Them is a song from Dark Side of the Moon, a 1973 album. While early versions of Dark Side were performed in 1972, they didn’t play any material from Meddle onwards (99% sure) at this performance.
