Recently moved to the area, this is my local. Seems like a "proper pub" but extremely quiet and "under new ownership" what do we think and is there any better options in the immediate area?
Hey gang, I'm moving to a small town just outside of Barrow in Furnace for work - the boss lady was very keen to be assure me that where I would be living and working is NOT Barrow In Furness and that it's got a bit of a reputation for being "rough"
I'm from just outside of Liverpool so I'm happy to be near somewhere a bit more proper if anything.
But what should I know? What should I do?
I like alternative music, beer, football, food and dancing. I'm pushing 30 and would be keen to make friends with people my age
