Someone I know believes that T. Rex may have had wings.

Somebody who I know believes in a theory that a Tyrannosaur’s arms could have extended into wings like a dragon (or wyvern technically). I tried to explain how that probably wasn’t the case, but I’m not great at that sort of stuff. What are the main reasons this is untrue/ implausible?

This will forever annoy me

The fact that guests don’t go on the paths to actively look at dinosaurs unless it’s an attractions really annoys me. In Jurassic world Claire says people are getting bored of dinosaurs and I guess this is the same? Like they only want to see them if they are in a hot air balloon or zip line for the fun. But, when I go to the zoo and see a tiger I don’t get bored of tigers, they’re cool! If I was at a dinosaur zoo I don’t think I COULD get bored. I just wish the guests would react and interact with the dinos more.

What is this?

I found this a few years ago in England and never thought to identify what it is. It looks like a centipede but wider and shorter. I think it’s a fossil. If someone could tell me what it is it would be appreciated, thanks.

Is this a fossil?

I found this rock by a bench with a weird pattern that looks like a shell in one side. Could it be a fossil?

Where were the nostrils on Brachiosaurus?

I’ve seen many different interpretations of Brachiosaurus and the placement of the nostrils is always changing. They’re either on the head or on the end of its snout. Do we actually know?

(Also I got perma banned on r/Paleontology asking this. For a “Low effort post” or something. I don’t really know.)
