Hi everyone,
After waiting 20 days, I finally received an approval email for my STEM OPT extension, which I had upgraded to Premium Processing.
I’m wondering if anyone has experience with a pending I-485 based on marriage. How long did it take for you to receive your I-485 approval after your STEM OPT/EAD was approved?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and timelines. Thank you!
Note: I submitted I-485 in Feb 2026 and Pp STEM OPT in July 2026.

Hello everyone, I've been waiting for my STEM OPT extension approved through premium processing. Yesterday, I found an timestampt update on my initial OPT which was approved and closed in 2025. Nothing has been changed on my current application. Anyone has experienced this? Thank you very much!
