What plugins do you keep on your master melody bus while producing?

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering what plugins you keep on your master melody bus to give your melodies a more interesting sound. I know about HalfTime and tape-style plugins, but what else do you usually keep on while making melodies, and to give subtle movement?

Things like guitar pedal plugins, ShaperBox, Portal?

Would really appreciate any recommendations or advice.

CellCore Biotoxin Binder vs Carboxy — Time to Switch Binders?

Hi everyone, I’ve been on CellCore Biotoxin Binder for about 2 months now and have worked up to 3 capsules twice a day. It definitely helps, but nothing major so far. I’ve also been on Itraconazole for about a month with pretty similar results.

I’m wondering if I should move on to CellCore Carboxy or try another binder, or if the Biotoxin Binder is enough on its own. I’ve read that it’s more of a beginner binder, and I seem to tolerate 6–8 capsules a day now.

Would really appreciate any advice or your experience with this!

I’ve tried countless amp sims over the years, both hardware units like the FM3, Fender Tone Master Pro, and most of the main guitar sim pedals and I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that I just want the real thing.

My goal is to record a clean Fender-style tone at home as well as possible. I tried a Princeton, but it was simply too loud for my space.

So I’m trying to figure out what amp would suit me best. Right now I’m considering something like a Blues Junior or a Vibro Champ 68. I’m also wondering if one of the Tone Master amps would be just as good in practice.

What I think I’m really chasing is that organic sound of a mic’d amp in a room. I feel like that’s the missing piece with amp sims so I’m leaning toward the idea that almost any decent low-watt Fender-style amp would be an improvement over recording sims direct.

Would really appreciate any help or suggestions from people who’ve gone down a similar path!
