We recently moved into a beautiful home from 1910. The previous owners had pets and also sanded their floors down massively, there is a lot of warping and staining. We are contemplating replacing what’s currently there with rift sawn white oak. Wondering if I will massively regret taking these out. We’ve had three hardwood guys tell us they are too thin to save, but maybe we should live with the stains?
