Saw a dead squirrel near my home today and it unexpectedly hit me hard
Today while leaving my house for some work, I saw a dead squirrel lying on the road near my home. I don't know why, but it instantly made me feel sad. It was just a small moment in the day, but it stayed in my mind longer than I expected.
Maybe it's because I rarely see squirrels around now compared to when I was younger. I remember seeing them running around trees, walls, and rooftops so often. It made me wonder if we're slowly losing these little parts of everyday life without even realizing it.
