Help with what to look for

I'm looking to get a Sheltie puppy. I've contacted some breeders and the breeder I really liked actually has no formal vet check of the pups. They offer a 2 year health guarantee, parents screened and are a smaller in home breeding program. They said they never needed to bring their puppies in, do own vaccines and deworming. They also don't allow visiting puppies, you can if course go there to pick up the pup you reserved for a non-refunable deposit and see the dad, but are very strict on illness protocols for their puppies. They don't appear to be apart of associations for the breed, their dogs do show and have a great verifiable bloodline. Another breeder I talked to allows you to come amd encourages it, offered for me to bring my adult dog to see their interactions before deciding. She does own vaccines and deworming, 1 year health guarantee and did have the puppies go to the vet for declaring removal only. They screen parents, have been breeding for 20 years are apar of local associations, and I'm not sure about the bloodline as we didn't discuss that yet.

Any recommendations on things to ask, look for in a breeder, etc?
