I have seen a company called Centiprid or centipid technologies has set up a public wifi with a captive portal around where we live and wondered how much returns are on providing internet services in Nairobi for small ISPs.

If there is anyone doing that business in this community, please share your insight.

I realize this information may be dated, but for those who had access to the internet, what trickery did you use, and/or which ISP did you use when the old man did his thing?

I am shopping for a static IP. Of course a good price would be great. I normally use Airtel and JTL but I know JTL will put me on corporate charges which as you know are high. As for airtel, I have no idea on the availability and pricing.
