It never eeeeends

Everytime I think im almost done and will be able to launch my website soon I have new things to take care of. Just today I had to create an othet adress on zoho, configure cloudflare and resend…. And this is just for the website to be operational basic nothing fancy…. It seems that it really never ends

Parents ? How you get alone time without your village near by ?

Hi, I’m wondering how expats/nomads handle childcare while being far away from their family/friends? How do you do it? What app/website do you use? Do you feel safe enough?

Hi everyone, I’ve spent the last few weeks looking deep into the "Gig Economy" for sitters and nannies, and I’m honestly angry.

I’m a mom, and while I worry about my kids' safety when looking for a babysitter, I’ve realized that almost NO ONE is talking about your safety. You go into stranger's homes, often late at night, with zero info on who these people actually are. Who many time a shady father smiled at you like a creep ? Or even worse.

On top of that, I see some apps taking 20-30% of your pay (hello bubble)  while you do 100% of the work. It feels like we’ve just accepted that "this is how it is," but it's dangerous and exploitative.

I want to put together a report/standard on what a fair and safe platform should actually look like. I’m not selling anything, I have two under 3 and not enough time to be selling anything rn. I just want to hear the truth from the people on the ground:

  1. Safety: Have you ever felt unsafe in a booking? What do you wish the app did to protect YOU?
  2. Pay: At what point does a platform fee become "theft" in your eyes?
  3. Respect: What’s the things parents or apps do that makes you feel like a "disposable service" rather than a professional childcare provider?||

I’m so tired of the shady apps that doesn’t seems to care about the safety of the kids or the sitters and wants to see if there’s a better way to do this. Thanks for sharing. Let me know if I can reach to you directly to ask more questions !!!
