Hiking solo EBC

I’m planning to hike Everest Base Camp from 2–18 October and I’m looking for some advice / possibly a trekking buddy.
I’ve contacted quite a few trekking companies, but unfortunately I haven’t found a group that matches my exact dates. I’m also not particularly keen on joining a group of 15 men 😂😬 mainly because I’d rather trek at my own pace without the stress of trying to keep up with a group.
I’m thinking of going to Kathmandu and arranging a private guide + porter through a local trekking company, rather than joining a large group.
The one thing I’m a little worried about is teahouse availability in October, given that it’s peak season. Has anyone done EBC around this time as a solo trekker? Did you book your teahouses in advance, or were you able to find accommodation along the way?
Also, if there are any women travelling to EBC around 2–18 October who are looking for someone to trek with, I’d love to connect! 😊
Would also really appreciate any tips from anyone who has done EBC solo — especially around finding a reliable guide/porter in Kathmandu, accommodation, and travelling as a solo female.
