I had a granuloma that developed into a fistula, but apparently no fluid was coming out (I’m scheduled for urethral anastomosis in stage 2). Today I started dilation with catheterization as my doctor instructed, and the swelling just burst, and a lot of blood started coming out. I’m feeling pretty devastated and don’t know where to turn for support; I don’t know how this will be resolved. It seems like a very invasive fistula. If anyone has been through a similar situation and feels comfortable sharing it, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
