hi this is sage. dont tell mum, but can anyone help

me find my dad.

i went to look at the school and no one was there so i didnt think i was doing anything rong

i looked threw the windows and i saw all the books and pictures and there was a room with lots of paints and another one with maps on the wall. i stayed for a long time just wondering what it would be like

a nice lady came outside and asked if i was ok. she wasnt cross. she said if i ever wanted to come to school my mum would have to fill in forms and do a signicher and things first

i dont think mum would want to because she says schools put children in boxes and dont let them listen to themselves

i was wondering if maybe my dad could do the signicher instead

his name is river moonwalker skye. i think thats his name anyway. mum says he followed the migrating butterflies until they showed him where his spirit belonged. i havent seen him for a long time but i think he would remember me

does anybody know where he is

or how you find your dad if you only know the name mum uses

please dont tell mum i asked because i dont want her to think i dont like learning from her. i do.

i just want to know what school feels like

thankyou

Song of the sparrow by Tara MacLean audiobook. Looking for something similar

So I'm an avid reader and don't care for audiobooks. However, last year I went on a peaceful holiday to rural Ireland and listened to Song of the Sparrow by Tara MacLean, narrated by the author herself, and it completely made my trip. I've since started listening to her music and it always takes me back to that holiday and puts me in a good mood.

This year I'm planning a peaceful village in the Scottish Highlands and would love to find another audiobook that gives me the same feeling.

What I loved about Song of the Sparrow was how beautifully descriptive and well written it was. Although it's a heartbreaking story, Tara has such a hopeful outlook and manages to find light and beauty even in difficult things. I also loved how vividly she described the places she lived and travelled through. From Canada to England, with all the forests, water and landscapes, she had a way of writing that made you feel you were there with her.

It was just such a lovely addition whilst exploring beautiful places, and I'd love to recreate that feeling.

I'm not necessarily looking for the same subject, but something equally atmospheric, reflective, descriptive and comforting. A book that feels peaceful, beautiful and immersive to listen to.

Any suggestions?

hi this is sage. dont tell mum but i was wondering

what its like to go to school

mum says schools make children forget who they are and they make you sit under lights and around harmful things and they dont let you listen to your body. she says they make you have things put in you and that they dont like children who ask questions

but i was just wondering what its really like

i see children with bags and lunch boxes and they seem happy and they have friends they see every day. i dont really have friends except my siblings and some kind old people in town

do you get to choose what you learn or do they make you do things all day

and if you dont understand things does someone help you

i like learning things. i ask lots of questions but mum says i learn from nature and from helping with the others. i do like that but i wonder if there are books and stuff i dont know about

mum says we are free and dont need certificates and things and that schools want to put labels on children. she says they make you have needles and that is one reason we stay away. i dont know if that is true because i havent ever asked anyone who has been

i dont want anyone to think im ungratefull because mum loves us and works very hard and i know she is trying her best

i just wonder what its like

and if someone wanted to go to school when they are older is it too late

sorry if this is a silly question

please dont tell mum
