Hi! I was recently offered a permanent part-time position on an acute neurosurgery unit which I am excited for. A few days after receiving word that I had gotten the job, I was contacted about interviewing for a temporary full-time position in the neurotrauma ICU in the same hospital.

The NTICU is my dream unit but I have no clinical ICU experience, only clinical extern experience. I have experience in step-down units (hemodynamic monitoring), and have learned a great deal from my exposure as an extern.

Start date for part-time acute position is a few days after my interview for ICU btw. Any thoughts as to what I should do??
