As the title suggests, I'm trying to get the LCXL3 to update its parameter values from an external MIDI source. I have it connected to a Circuit Tracks, and I'd like both devices to communicate bidirectionally — so that if I tweak a knob on the CT, the LCXL3 stays in sync and avoids value jumps.
My current setup:
- CT MIDI OUT → LCXL3 MIDI IN
- LCXL3 MIDI OUT → CT MIDI IN
I'm also using matching MIDI channels and CC values, based on the LCXL3 template included in Components for the CT mixer.
Unless I'm missing something, I suspect the LCXL3 simply doesn't update its internal values from incoming MIDI. If that's the case, I'd love to see this added in a future firmware update. 🙏🏻😀
