i love shooting manual and so far my fav cameras for that are lumix lx2 and minolta dimage z10. i know old dslr can deliver that but i want more compact format
i’ve heard about canon g9 but its too $$$ and maybe there are less hyped suggestions?
only slightly edited contrast, color science is 100% sooc. 10/10 camera would recommend that to anyone
i got this annoying problem on my minolta x60 camera: every time i take out and full charge battery it resets time and date and other settings i set to my taste. i had the same problem with couple other cameras and i don’t know why it’s happening and is there is a solution.
did anyone have this issue and is it even possible to fix?
i love 16:9 sensor and i don’t care if my photos are too long lol
since there’s almost no info on this cam i will continue experimenting with it. it’s v noisy at iso400 but i kinda like this soft lofi texture it gives
stumbled upon this beauty accidentally and i just had to get it. reminds me of old slider phones we used in middle school.
this model also has built in mp3 player and you can watch movies (???) that’s wild. and that bedazzled camera rim. just stunning.
other than that you have a lot of custom settings like rgb slider and saturation level. i wonder why i never seen anyone talk about this cam…
shot with my trustworthy canon ixus 70 (2007). would post other pics but i’m afraid i might have to add nsfw tag…
so here’s the thing: i want to sell my ipod classic gen 4 (ipod photo). i modded it with cheapo chinese CF adapter and it wasn’t plug and play. i got it working by formatting SD card and doing MBR rebuild. now it runs on a 64GB SD card but the problem is if you restore the ipod in itunes it gives that dead drive error and you end up in a restoring loop so you gotta do formatting+reduild MBR trick to get it to work
but over than that it works fine, has a new battery and 64GB of storage. how do you think i should write my listing? cause writing “pls do not restore it will ruin everything” sounds awkward lol
i believe you can shoot with anything with right mindset and skill, but i got this finepix z800exr camera and i just hate it. i wanted to try fuji color science and that exr sensor but i couldn’t get proper experience. i did take some nice pics but its far inbetween and only salvageable with heavy editing. it usually doesn’t take me too long to get used to a new camera and find ways to reach its full potential, but this one honestly sucks.
did you have similar experience? which model was it and what did you end up doing? kept persisting or just sold it?
absolutely love colors on this camera but its a tad bulky. wanna explore minolta more compact style cams like xg or x60.
so far very impressed with low light performance
“just curious” question. i’ve had a lot of different cameras and from what i’ve noticed: sony tends to have sharp contrast, but mostly overexposed sky. i also think its the closest to “iphone” quality so i dont gravitate towards these cameras (i had two and the image just doesn’t do it for me). canon is the warmest i’ve had, both my ixus models had a nice subtle saturation but its noisy as hell and doesn’t perform well in low light. nikon is leaning more towards cool and too saturated for my liking
did you notice anything specific with each brand? i would like to hear other opinions!
p.s.: i do understand that every camera has it’s own perks but i do think there are specific traits to each brand
