It’s time we stop coddling OC Transpo, and their drivers

Over the years, I have noticed that whenever someone complains about OC Transpo, or a driver people are quick to come to the defence of OC Transpo. Recent proof of this is the woman who got frostbite because the bus showed up way later than scheduled.

Today, I saw a driver cross the line. The bus I was on (68 direction baseline) skipped a stop full of black kids and an elderly man. When will OC Transpo and their workers be held accountable for their bad behaviour including; theft and racism?

A few months ago, someone I know one forgot their wallet on the bus. The route had the same driver at the same time every day. The next day, the driver said they found the wallet and brought it into lost and found. My friend put in a lost and found ticket and called them daily for weeks. The lost and found said they never got a wallet and that the driver was a liar and shouldn’t have said they got it. What the hell does that mean? The driver was then removed from the route.

People are quick to say “buy a car” when there are OC Transpo complaints, but that is not feasible for everyone.

Extreme vertigo (I think?)

Hello, I am not really sure where to put this and I am still experiencing residual nausea being on the phone.

About 20 minutes ago I was doing dishes with wireless earphones and watching a YouTube video. While doing dishes, I briefly looked up to my phone to see the video and became super dizzy.

The room wasn’t spinning but it was rocking from left to right and I felt like how I felt as a kid when I would spin really fast in a circle. It felt like I was being pulled in different directions.

I rushed myself to my couch and had to grab onto the couch arm and pull myself to the couch otherwise I would have fallen over. The dizziness didn’t stop so I dragged myself to the bathroom to put cold water on my face.

The cold water stopped the rocking and the dizziness but now I have really bad residual nausea and when I stand it feels like I’m going to throw up.

What do I do??
