I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED YURI RECOMMENDATION PLEASE

I desperately need your help.
I’ve been into manga, anime, webtoons, light novels, web novels, visual novels — basically the whole weeb ecosystem — since I was really young. For context, I’ve probably watched around 1400 anime, read 300–400 manga, around a hundred webtoons, a hundred web novels/light novels, and played around fifty visual novels.
So I’d say I have a decent background in a lot of genres.
But there is one genre where I am completely useless:
Yuri / Girls’ Love.
And that’s a problem, because my sister is turning 26 soon, and for her birthday she asked me if I could find her some really good yuri manga to discover. She knows I usually know my stuff when it comes to manga, but in this specific genre… I’m basically lost.
The thing is, she has already read a LOT of yuri. Like, probably somewhere between one hundred and several hundred titles. So I know this request might be a bit hard, but I’m looking for anything that really stands out.
I’m looking for:
- Yuri / Girls’ Love manga with a good English translation
- Preferably something with multiple volumes available
- Something I can buy physically or find without too much trouble
- It doesn’t have to be super innocent or fluffy; some ecchi is totally fine, as long as it doesn’t go full hentai
- Good romance, strong characters, nice drama, great atmosphere, hidden gems, underrated stuff — anything you genuinely think is worth reading
Basically, I need your best yuri recommendations. Classics are welcome, but since she has already read a lot, I’d especially love some less obvious picks too.
Please help me not fail as a brother.
