33594 repaired

For the first time in 13 years I took out my 33594 engine. The metal contacts had come loose, and the transmission gears were in bad shape - the gears that supposed to be stationary, were actually spinning around the axle, gosh. I glued them in place and that made a huge difference. It started passing through curves on its own and even managed to haul wagons (!!!). However, it won't go in reverse at all, unfortunately. But that’s okay! I spent four hours tinkering with it, and it is really a marvel.
