Trying to capture the quieter side of racing.
Hey everyone, first post here.
I’m a UK-based motorsport photographer mainly shooting British Superbikes and the support paddock. Been around the BSB scene for a couple of seasons now, but only just getting into posting work on Reddit.
One thing I’ve started appreciating more lately is how many meaningful moments in racing happen away from the actual action. Everyone sees the overtakes and podium celebrations, but sometimes the quieter moments on the grid say more.
This image is Aeziah Divine (#90) in the Moto4 class with Fibre Tec Honda–MLav Racing, just before heading out. Something about the calm before the noise really stood out to me here.
Still learning every weekend, but thought this felt like a solid first post. Curious what you all think.
