Applying Late
Hey everyone!
So, first, obviously I know it’s best to have everything done Sep 23rd. But that just isn’t in the cards because of delays getting my status switched in the ECFMG system (and now applied for the FSMB permit)
The stats:

4 LOR, 2x IM(USA), 1x cardiology(USA), 1x research (home country)
Step 1 P
Step 2 - scheduled for Sep 16th - scoring mid 25x, trying for 260s
Multiple years of USCE from pre-med + some clerkships done in US
Already applied for pathway 3, OET passed.
Planning to apply broadly to 150+ programs
My questions are:
how much of a disadvantage am I in considering my step 2 score will be late, which dominoes into certification being late?
Should I apply on September 23rd without anything done and update, or should I apply once everything is in first-ish week of October?
I’m hearing mixed advice, so some guidance or advice would be amazing!
