so, I was trying to not have my gallbladder removed for about 3 years... but last Tuesday I got it out and could go home after a few hours. But when I got home I got this intense sharp pain and I figured something went wrong.. after calling the Emergency department 3 times we could finally come.

I was feeling so nauseous, clogged up and just horrible sweaty. I had sepsis because apparently my small intestine had a hole because of the operation. They didn’t know until the CT later that day. They operated me right away. I’ve been feeling better after 3 days but nauseous.. and I became traumatized for the hospital immediately. Couldn’t sleep even with sleeping pills. started having panic attacts constantly to the point I had to keep a nurse to my side.. but they were busy. The bed also hurt me a lot and I got dismissed today. values in my blood are dropping but I’m deadly scared I have to go back or get something worse. What’s your experience? How do you cope being in hospital the whole day without sleep? what do I do if I need to go back??? And has anybody else had this complication with gallbladder surgery?
