Kaspersky Antivirus crashes completely mid-game when playing Apex Legends
>Completely out of nowhere mid-match, my game will briefly stutter and Kaspersky completely crashes/shuts down in the background.
What I've Done So Far:
- I have already repaired and verified the game files through the launcher.
- I have submitted the official crash dumps directly to Kaspersky support so their engineering team can review the logs.
- I really do not want to turn off my antivirus protection just to run a safe, mainstream game, so I am looking for a real fix rather than just disabling my security.

My Theory (New Anti-Cheat Conflict):
I suspect this is happening because Apex Legends recently migrated from Easy Anti-Cheat to the new EA Javelin Anti-Cheat system. Because Javelin is a brand-new, deep kernel-level system, it seems to be much more aggressive than before. Kaspersky is likely misinterpreting Javelin’s deep system monitoring as a threat, causing the two programs to clash until Kaspersky forcefully crashes.
