Disclaimer: I am not a copyright expert, nor do I know fully well on how lawsuit works. Any criticism is welcomed as long as it's nothing against me. I am not against the SML crew using plushies as even myself admittedly missed it when they still used the plushies. I am also not saying that things would have been "better" as there would still be controversy surrounding the SML show.

Don't get me wrong, I do miss it when the SML still used the plushies for their show before Nintendo sued them but I think if they swapped to the puppets earlier and learned about Nintendo suing people who use their IPs without consent, I feel like they would have still made references to Nintendo's IPs but to an extent.
