I'm side/stomach sleeper with broad shoulders and after a lot of research I torn between the big agnes campmeister deluxe and exped megamat ultra, both 30" version.

and also I'll prefer quilt over sleeping bag due to my sleep position so logically the R value could be a bit more important on the sleeping pad, since quilt is more open to take cold air from the sides.

campmeister deluxe has a R value of 7 and and exped has 4.2 so should I go for big agnes? also, which one will be more comfortable?

I'm planning to go camping on alps at the summer.

soon I'll start to do hiking and camping with my 26kg golden retriever medium sized dog. for tent I choose durston xmid 2 and now I have to find a proper sleep system for us.

my idea for the solution is buying inflatable sleeping pad for myself and a good foam mattres for her, like thermarest zlite. or would it be more logical to just buying a double size sleeping pad to cover all of the ground?

also, I'm open for another mattress recommendations. we will camp at bavaria, alps this summer

I'm planning to go our first hike/camping with my golden retriever dog . Does any one have recommendation for 2p tent for us?

since I hike with barefoot and I will carry the food, water, items of my dog too, It would be better if the tent is ultralight

I'm living in bavaria and planning to take hikes on the alps and near munich.

Budget - Preferrably less than 300 Euro or if more expensive hopefully it justifies the quality

recently I moved on to bavaria(near munich) and I'm thinking to take 2-3 days hiking/camping trips with my dog. she is 25kg golden retriever so single person tent would be to small for both of us. so I'm looking model/brand recommendations for 2-3 person size summer tent (I'm planning to buy winter tent when the season end's)
