So I am from nyc and wanting to go on a weekend getaway. Some people on other threads were recommending Jim Thorpe since it possible to get there by train. However I wanted to ask if maybe there might be more suggestion or to make Jim Thrope our solid trip get away

just to add context!
We want to do hiking trails, eat and venture out
also if we can get there by train and no car that is also a big plus ! so if that does check these boxes if not any other recommendations would be appreciated and welcomed :) thank you

So my plan to Japan is form Jul 24-Aug4. I am just seeking advice on which day of the week would be better to go to universal and what express pass was worth purchasing

PS. we aren’t the biggest fan of roller coasters but more of the attractions and wanna guarantee in Nintendo world so we are leaning to the
1-day Studio Pass + SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ entry + Have Fun in Kansai Pass

Just wanted to ask before purchasing. Any advice and recommendations would help
