So I was at the vedder river, and there were a line of people on either side me and my buddy were in the water. And there were another 10 or 12 guys on shoreand I hooked my fish it was jumping around, fighting for a minute, and then 2 guys cast it over me well I was fighting my fish and then snag my fish , and then they were both reeling against me and then and they obviously won, because my drag couldn't handle it And there was two of them i kinda wish I called the conservation officers but damn i know why people fist fight now on the river!

Honestly , I started getting into salmon fishing 4 months ago and i've probably been on the water 20 times i've only caught a couple rainbows and whitefish , but I haven't caught a single salmon , and i'm starting to get kinda depressed. And I have the correct setups it's just getting frustrated I'm honestly thinking about just getting into sturgeon fishing now

Side note: what's up with sport fishing I swear a huge amount of people have no etiquette.

It's supposed to be in sequence when there's a bunch of floats out on the water you just don't cast whenever then the other guy has to wait for the drift to end And then someone casts idk it's so dumb sometimes 🤣

So I'm 22 Ive fished bass my whole life , but i'm really new to salmon fishing havent caught a single salmon yet looking so stupid when i'm at the vedder canal well i'm there for hours and everyone else's catching all around me i just really wanna find some chill people to fish with and drink some beers and show me the ropes. I don't have a car right now, but I would have happily Chip in for some gas.I live in abbotsford yeah, let me know if anyone's down.Maybe we could go start a little club lmao
