How to climb the arm of crane pls tips

So I’ve climbed two cranes now and I wanted to climb the arm of the crane or the jib whatever it’s called (vertical) but I don’t know the proper technique. I don’t want to be dumb and rush it with no idea so I was wondering if anyone could give tips or anything from experience and how to train for it? Thanks!

Urbex map that I made pls dont remove.

So today I decided that urbexology is outdated and needs smth new so I vibecoded a urbex map where you can put your locations in and save them for others to see aswell. https://urbex-map-47378.web.app. this is not for profit or anything but please add REAL locations like towers cranes bandos etc (especially for Australia (: ) but yeah lmk any improvements I can make and enjoy! Dam Wall Climb

If you look at the telegraph pole you can sort of see the height although its not very high its a unique and fun climb. Sorry if the video is shit i was sitting at the top of the ladder and I was in a hurry so workers didnt spot me.

First crane climb tmrw need tips.

So I (14) am finally gonna climb a crane tmrw. Not a vertical jib but its a good first climb. its nearby a police station and close to a main road. Im sick of waiting for mates and they cancel so im gonna go alone but what time should I climb it? I cant sneak out of my house so it would either have to be early morning-ish or when it starts getting dark.
