Just finished Taxi Driver today, and I have a few questions

  1. Why isn’t Martin Scorsese’s name on the credits? Usually the director’s name should be the last name shown on the credits, except before “dedicated to”, which for this film, is Bernard Herrmann.

  2. Wikipedia mentions Travis writing a threatening letter to Palantine, which I don’t remember happening in the movie.

I always thought that Asuna’s Stacia costume is just a wedding dress with breastplate and rapier added on top of it.

If I was Kirito, I would marry her with this dress on.

Give me some anime that constantly changes genres

I often see people replying “what genres do you like” when someone is asking for anime recommendations when they don’t say anything about themselves. For some reason it irritates me a bit. What if I don’t care about genres? Why don’t you just suggest something that has every genre mixed in one? I know most shows tend to stick with one specific genre, but sometimes they can still have variations within itself. Examples include:

Cowboy Bebop: mostly a sci-fi show, but includes elements of comedy, tragedy, action, horror, and romance. One episode could be just silly comedy, only for the next episode to be serious, and the next episode horrifying, and the next episode sad.

Haruhi Suzumiya: mostly a high school drama, but includes elements of sci-fi, romance, sports, action, mystery, music, and slice of life. Great mix of arcs and episodic stories that are very different from one another.

Sword Art Online: again mostly a sci-fi show, but includes elements of action, romance, adventure, mystery, tragedy, and drama. Each arc brings something new to the show, while maintaining a consistent theme throughout the story.

I sometimes suspect that these shows are as popular as they are because these shows have so many genres mixed into one, meaning that people who don’t like the previous episode/arc could just skip to the next episode/arc and get hooked because the change in genre.

What are some other examples like that? I would really like to see that.
