NYLC course materials- am I missing a file?

I’m currently watching the NYLC videos and using the official course materials PDF:

https://www.nybarexam.org/Content/NewYorkCourseMaterials.pdf

I’m on the Family Law section now, and the lecturer keeps referring to cases that I don’t see in the materials. Am I missing another file or set of materials that we’re supposed to use along with this PDF? Or are the cases mentioned in the videos just not included in the current written materials?

Thanks!

How do I break into a BigLaw Conflicts Analyst role?

I have 10+ years of legal experience, including practicing as an attorney outside the U.S. I have an LL.M. and MPA from U.S. universities and recently passed the NY Bar. My experience includes contracts, due diligence, conflicts research, sanctions/compliance work, and I currently also work as a freelance immigration paralegal.

I’m trying to transition into a Conflicts Analyst/Coordinator role at a law firm, but I keep getting rejected.

I don’t have experience with Intapp or other conflicts-specific software, but I’ve handled much more complex legal matters and feel these systems are something I could learn quickly.

For people familiar with BigLaw conflicts hiring: What am I missing? Is direct conflicts/software experience really that important? Do I need a referral to get my foot in the door, or should I be positioning my experience differently on my resume?

Any advice on how to land that first conflicts role would be appreciated.
