prednisone?

hi everyone, i’m dealing with a slight case of perioral dermatitis for the past two weeks. it looks like red dry skin under my nostrils, but the entire left side of my face is also swollen as well, i’m not sure if that has to do with the perioral dermatitis or why it’s swollen, but it’s super uncomfortable. i was prescribed a low dose short 5 day course of prednisone, but im weary as it looks like anything steroid related is bad for perioral dermatitis? Is prednisone a typical treatment for it? Kind of unsure what to do but im in a lot of discomfort and never dealt with this before.

(Not asking for medical advice just want to know if anyone else experiences this) Hi everyone! I am on my fourth month of 20mg and a few weeks ago started having like pressure headaches especially behind my eyes, usually at night after looking at my phone so I took a break for about 2 weeks bc my derm advised me to. Now I resumed taking it about three days ago and everyday since the pressure feeling is back, pretty mild but persistent along with some light headedness. I’ve been consuming a good amount of water my whole treatment and take 2 fish oil a day. I’m obviously aware of the brain pressure thing it can cause so I’m very nervous about that, but I’m wondering if anyone else experiences these? Could it be because I’m resuming and my body is getting used to the med again? I will of course update my derm but I have a feeling she’s just going to permanently end my course which makes me sad :(
