A drop of water turned to a hard thing

When i was young ( i probably was in class 4 or 5) , our wooden cabinet used to be covered with cloth carpet at the top. Its a usual thing in asian household to protect it from dust, damage and increase longevity of wooden things. One time i was playing with water and would slowly drop, one single drop of water from my finger onto the carpet to see how long it would take to … dissolve it in the carpet… its a weird game thingy i used to do as a kid. One day later, i see one drop - that same drop at the exact same spot, looking exactly like a drop of water but now like a glass hard thing??? I dont know what that was , but it was just water- but hard? Shaped exactly like a drop of water on a cloth carpet frozen in time, right before it was supposed to get dissolved…. I never told thing to anyone. I dont even know what that experience was.

Basically this. You know how in 1500s anyone mentioning earth rotates around the sun instead of the other way round were burned. Its almost like the world reacted to jackson’s vitiligo like that. Like a wild topic he spun up and this medical condition does not exist?????
