Was this year applicants super competitive?

I am a intern at a company that is acquired by Microsoft; and I was caught drinking in the office, like security knocked on the door and said you can the drink but only happy hours. He told me I can’t stay in office today; I am a intern this happened Thursday and then same day I messaged manager he said; “understood, I’ll reach out to office manager” how bad is this scaled 1-10; It wasn’t like I was overly drunk in office and knocking on people’s doors lol; just simply enjoying a drink.

Has anyone got there offer yet for fall Amazon SDE internship, Amazon was doing on campus interviews back in April and May
