Why punch down on state housing occupants?
Why are we so determined to punch down? State housing is only around 3.7% of NZ’s housing stock. Housing people who are poor, disabled, elderly or simply priced out of the private market is not what’s making the rest of us poorer.
If you’re looking for where the money’s gone, look up; not down.
Seriously I work with so many who rant about state housing. It’s not that person is the state house thats causing NZs financial woes. We have more money in NZ than ever before.
Where does this crazy bias come from? How can kiwis truly believe if we didnt have state housing NZ would be financially better off?
