For contractors How do you guys find job??

I'm a solo contractor with 7.5 years of experience and I always have really hard time finding a job how do you guys usually find it??

Also I recently found this app it says it suppose to help contractors to connect with clients and clients send all the measurements and everything including photos and just bid on app and stuff and get paid on app and stuff.
I didn't tried the app yet do you think this app sounds good but i'm not sure it will have enough clients and stuff.

Built an app to help contractors generate estimates faster — looking for honest feedback

Been working on an idea related to contractor/client communication and wanted honest feedback from people actually in the construction industry.

One thing I’ve noticed is how scattered everything gets during projects:

  • texts
  • calls
  • progress photos
  • invoices
  • estimates
  • payment apps

So I started building something called BuildBridge to try organizing all of that into one place.

The idea is:

  • homeowners can upload project photos/details
  • contractors and homeowners can discuss pricing directly in chat
  • both sides can negotiate bids
  • request/send photos inside conversations
  • send estimates/scopes
  • handle payments through the platform instead of jumping between apps

It’s nowhere near launch yet and I’m genuinely not trying to promote anything. I mainly want feedback from people who’ve actually worked construction for years because I know there’s probably problems I haven’t thought about yet.

From a contractor or homeowner perspective:
What would make something like this actually useful?
What would you absolutely hate about it?
