RUN GIRLS, especially girls in FEU.
I honestly didn’t think I’d ever make a post like this, but I feel like some girls deserve to know my experience before getting involved with this guy.
a Civil Engineering student from FEU Tech.
He was the one who pursued me first. Siya yung consistent na nangungulit, reacting to my notes, messaging me, and making it obvious na interested siya. We kept talking for a while, then I eventually asked him directly kung ano ba talaga yung intentions niya and what he wanted from whatever was happening between us.
He told me that he wanted to be exclusive with me, so I agreed because I genuinely thought we were on the same page. We dated for months, went out, spent time together, and I took what we had seriously.
I even went to him and spent the night with him once, pero walang nangyari between us. I have my own boundaries when it comes to intimacy, and I wasn't going to let anything happen agad, especially on our first time meeting and spending time together. I wanted to take things slowly and only do something when I was genuinely comfortable and ready.
Eventually, he decided to stop and told me na nabigla daw siya. I respected his decision kahit confusing siya for me.
Then around three months later, a girl reached out to me and told me about other girls he was allegedly talking to and flirting with while we were dating. She also told me that he allegedly went to Cavite to meet a girl and have sex with her.
I didn't personally witness that situation, so I'm only sharing it as something that was told to me. But obviously, hearing those things made me question a lot of what I thought our relationship was.
What also bothered me was hearing that whenever he was confronted about certain girls, his explanation was apparently “nangungulit lang siya sa akin” or “siya yung unang nag-chat.”
But at the end of the day, you are still responsible for how you respond. Kahit sino pa yung unang mag-chat or mangulit, you still have a choice. And if you've already asked someone to be exclusive with you, you should understand the responsibility that comes with that.
You're old enough to know what's right and wrong. Sorry and accountability shouldn't be that difficult. Hindi yung puro excuses or ipapasa yung responsibility sa ibang tao.
And honestly, if you need multiple women just to feed your ego and feel validated, that's just sad. Ang lungkot siguro ng buhay when you constantly need attention from different women just to feel good about yourself.
And yung pag-bring up ng sex life with an ex or someone else's private experiences? Yuck. You're old enough to know that some things should remain private, and you should know better than to use someone else's personal life to justify your own actions.
But looking back, buti na lang natapos din**.** I don't want to stay connected to someone whose words and actions don't align. I don't regret taking things slowly, and I don't regret having boundaries. If anything, I'm glad I stayed true to myself.
I'm not posting this to tell anyone who they should or shouldn't date.
Girls, please protect your peace. Ask questions. Take your time. Don't ignore things that don't feel right just because you like someone. And if someone asks you to be exclusive, you deserve someone who actually understands and respects what exclusivity means.
You deserve honesty, consistency, respect, and someone whose actions actually match their words.
